The next few weekends are very busy for us! The Backwoods Hog Hunters have several events that we are attending. This weekend we have signed up with The United Way to offer a helping hand to our elderly around the community! We are going Saturday morning to Up Town Wadesboro, meet up for breakfast and find out who, what, when, and where we will be going to help. I heard through the grapevine that our group will be doing a little weedeating, weeding flowerbeds, and triming shrubs! I believe we can put a handle on that... May just make some new friends and put a smile on a few faces!
The following weekend we will be setting up a booth at the Midland Magic, in Midland NC. We have never attended this event and are looking forward to doing so. We still have alot of raffle tickets to get sold!
The weekend after that The Backwoods Hog Hunters will be showing a little home town pride and setting up a booth at People Fest in Wadesboro! We hope to draw a pretty big crowd! Because we sure have been getting alot of support from our friends and family!
We will be packing up and leaving the People Fest and heading out to Wingate NC, where we will also be setting up a booth at the QDMA Banquet. Maybe we can turn a few heads there, too! So we hope to see you at, at least one of these 4 places.
Just a thought, when you are out and about, stop by and check on someone that you haven't heard from in a while, maybe offer a helping hand, or just sit around and chat. I'm sure they will be very thankful. You just might learn somthing.....
